| Ethnic mixture The south of China has a special touch. It's far from the modern and urban areas of the north and east. The daily living is strongly influenced by ethnic groups from Tibet, Myanmar and Laos. Here you also find big fields of rice and sugar canes, rainforest and not the least, a lovely climate. In Yunnan they claim they have the best climate in the world. All together it makes this area perfect for tourists. Lijiang and Yangshuo are the favorites for backpackers to gather. |
